Gail Hamilton, 65, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bartonsville Campus. Born on April 23, 1958, in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Lena (Ceglio) Porciello.

Gail received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Saint John's University, in New York and a Masters from East Stroudsburg University in Elementary Education  and Special Education. Gail started her teaching career at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Academy in South Ozone Park, NY. She then went on to teach for 18 years at East Stroudsburg Area School District in East Stroudsburg, PA before retiring.

Gail was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with the family's dogs but her greatest joy was being with her three grandchildren. Traveling was one of her favorite hobbies especially when it involved taking trips to visit family in England and in Italy. Gail loved a good crossword puzzle, spending time in the garden, cooking, and baking for her family and friends. She was a history buff with the Gettysburg battlefield being one of her favorite historical sites.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Glenn Hamilton; sons, Glenn Hamilton and wife, Ruth of England; Tyler Hamilton of Effort, PA; daughter Caroline Bryant of Effort, PA; grandchildren Aiden, Kennedy, and Diego.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Porciello.
