Gail M. Zapp, 79, of Stewartsville, NJ, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.

Gail was born in Easton, Pa in 1943.   She graduated from Wilson High School and went to the University of Pennsylvania where she earned her bachelor's degree in nursing. She worked as a pediatric nurse for several years. After many joyful years as a stay-at-home mother while also dabbling in a myriad of trades, Gail then changed careers and earned her realtor's license. She worked for Weichert Realtors for over 20 years.

Gail had a love of adventure and traveled the world.  She also loved spending time outdoors whether it was taking a walk around the neighborhood, hiking at Merrill Creek, spending time at the beach, or skiing, Gail enjoyed it all. Gail passed on her love of life and particularly her love of New York City with her children and grandchildren. Gail was also an avid reader, a beautiful writer, and an amazing story-teller.

Gail is survived by her son, Greg Zapp, his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children: Jordan, Jack, and Anna, of Ashburn, VA; and her daughter, Heidi Zapp Ferrier, her husband, Matthew, and their two boys: Nate and Daniel, of Mystic, CT, and her former husband, John Zapp.  She is also survived by her sisters, Geraldine Alley of Easton; Patricia Sensenig and her husband, James of Lititz, PA; and sister-in-law, Barbara O'Brien of Watertown, CT.  Gail is predeceased by her beloved brother, Jack O'Brien, and her parents, John and Irene (Mitman) O'Brien.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp.) followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM.
