Gary W. Sharer, 75 of Palmer Township went to heaven on Tuesday May 12, 2020. He died from pancreatic cancer and complications from COVID-19 at St Luke's Anderson Campus.

Gary was born April 7, 1945 in Allentown. He was the son of the late Stanley and Myrtle (Sterner) Sharer. He graduated from Nazareth High School Class of 1963.  Gary was married to the love of his life, the former Gina Giunta for 47 years.  He worked at ATREAT Bottling Company for 50 years until his retirement in 2007. He enjoyed gardening, his Green Bay Packers, any dessert, shopping, Nazareth, Easton and Penn State football games and spending time with family and friends. He, especially, loved spending his time with his 3 grandsons and being their Pappy.

He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton, PA.

Gary is survived by his wife; son, Jason Sharer and his wife Bridget of Vineland, NJ; daughter, Megan Sharer of Palmer Township; sisters, Imogene Kresge of Bath, Lynette Greenawalt of Allentown and grandsons, Aidan, Christian and Zachary Sharer.  His sister, Judy Sharer preceded him in death.

The family wishes to acknowledge St Luke's Fountain Hill/Anderson Campus and Manor Care of Easton for the care Gary received by all their employees.

Due to COVID-19 services will be private.  Burial will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.).
