Gene F. Roscioli, 78, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 30th in Easton Hospital. Gene was born on November 27, 1933 in Easton, PA, a son of the late Timothy and Angelina Berardi Roscioli. Gene was an attorney, former Chairman of the Liquor Control Board of PA, Chief Counsel of the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, and Deputy Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He graduated from Easton High School in 1951, received his Bachelor of Arts in Government & Law from Lafayette College, and received his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University School of Law. Gene was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, a former Advocate of the State Council of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Knights of Columbus - Pope Pius XII Assembly. He was also a member of the Northampton County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations, American and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Associations, American Arbitrators Association, and the American Judicature Society. He celebrated his 50th anniversary of the PA and Northampton County Bar Associations in 2009. Gene is survived by his wife Dorie Tito Roscioli; daughters Dana A. Fischer and her husband Thomas of Basking Ridge, NJ; The Honorable Paula A. Roscioli and her husband Alan of Bethlehem; Tara A. Roscioli and her husband Jerry of Maplewood, NJ; and grandchildren Taylor, Alex, Luke, Nicholas and Ben. A private viewing will be held at Morello Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem, PA.
