Gene A. Stocker, 63, of Wilson Borough, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 after a courageous, year-long battle against cancer.

Born in Bethlehem, PA, Gene was the son of the late Clifford and Betty (Newhard) Stocker. Gene and his wife Carol (Neff) Stocker were married for 37 loving years.

Gene graduated from Easton Area High School in 1976. He then went on to Northampton Community College and Moravian College where he completed his bachelor's degree. He was a Certified Public Accountant for 30 years and recently incorporated his business, Stocker & Company, PC.

He was a member of St. Paul's Third Lutheran Church, the Pennsylvania Society of Tax & Accounting Professionals, and was a lifetime member of Bushkill Valley Motorcycle Club. Gene enjoyed spending time with his family and walking his dogs at Hackett's Park.  Throughout his entire life he had a strong desire to learn and master new skills. In his younger years he raced motocross and even turned pro.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by two daughters Ellen M. Stocker, and Lauren E. Stocker, both of Wilson Boro., and grandson: Drew A. Bronico, also of Wilson Boro.

Calling hour will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Third Lutheran Church, 2561 Newburg Rd, Easton, PA 18045, immediately followed by the church service at 11:00 a.m. in the same location. Interment will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
