George P. Calantoni, 49, of Forks Twp., passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at home, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

He was the husband of Jennifer (Doria) Calantoni, together they celebrated their 12 ^th wedding anniversary on September 18, 2021.  Born in Easton on November 30, 1972, he was a son of Giovanna (Viglianti) Calantoni of Forks Twp., and the late Soccorso Calantoni. He attended school at Wilson High School. George worked as a carpenter for most of his life, with his father originally, building homes, which he loved and missed dearly after his father's passing, but for over 16 years he was employed with George Calantoni & Sons, Inc. where he was loved by his cousin/boss, co-workers and by many of the tenants he met over the years.

George was of the catholic faith. He was a devoted husband and father and was very proud of his daughters.  His biggest passions were hunting and fishing and he always had the biggest smile on his face after catching a nice fish.  George also enjoyed helping to coach his daughters' softball teams.  He was a man who rarely sat still and liked to work with his hands.  There wasn't a job that he could not accomplish, a jack of all trades.  He was always called upon and trusted to do a good job and was someone who would lend a helping hand whenever he could to whomever he could.  He was incredibly smart and had an amazing sense of humor, even during the toughest days of his illness.  George will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know him.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his daughters, Gina Calantoni; Hannah Calantoni; Morgan Calantoni (Donte); and Samantha Calantoni; granddaughter, Olivia; brothers, Michael Calantoni, Stockertown; Joseph Calantoni, Easton; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), 18045.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church at 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA (Palmer Township). Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Easton.
