Name: George Judd Chocensky, 91, of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in Easton Hospital. Born: George was born in Cheltenham, PA, a son of the late Louis and Mary (Prambansky) Chocensky. Personal: George and his wife Olga Chocensky celebrated 42 years of marriage last September 11. He worked in sales at Sears before retiring in 1985, prior to that he worked at the General Baking Co. in Easton. George served in the US Naval Reserves and the US Merchant Marines, during World War II. Memberships: George was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, MORA Club of Easton and Phillipsburg, Senior Circle of Easton Hospital, AARP, and the Prime Time Golden Age Club of St. Anthonys Church. Survivors: In addition to his wife, George is survived by a son Guy Chocensky of Searsport, Maine; a daughter Lurena Falcone of Stroudsburg, PA; grandchildren Gretchen Chocensky, Anthony Falcone, Karl Chocensky, and a great-grandchild Alec Falcone. Services: A calling hour will be held on Monday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
