George Edmund Jackus, Sr., 78, of Wind Gap, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 in St. Luke's Hospital Anderson Campus.

He was born in Staten Island, NY, a son of the late Joseph and Edna (Rogers) Jackus.

George was the loving husband of Margaret (Ekberg) Jackus with whom he celebrated 57 years of marriage last June. He worked for Chernay Printing as a printer for many years until his retirement. He was a lifetime member of the FLEAS Club. He loved fishing, and baseball when he was young. He was a fan of the NY Jets, Giants and Mets.

In addition to his wife, George is survived by his son, George Jackus Jr. and wife Tracie of Bethlehem Twp.; daughters, Cindy Emeigh and husband Dean of Wind Gap, and Dawn Galambos and husband Steve of Phoenixville; a brother, Jay Jackus and wife Laurie of New Port Richey, Florida; and five grandchildren, Alex, Mason, Sophie, Griffin, and Quinn. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Edward Jackus and an infant sister, Sharon Jackus.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
