George Frank Moritz, 92, of Easton, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Born on February 12, 1931 in Glen Ridge, NJ, he was the son of the late Catherine (Gibson) and late Frank Moritz.

George was a veteran who served in the United States Army during the Korean War after high school, earning the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and the UN Service Medal. George was a talented self-employed carpenter. He had a passion for fishing and country music dancing.

George is survived by his loving wife, Florence (Serreino) Moritz; his son, Tom Moritz and his wife Christiane of Byram, NJ; his daughter, Susan Roscioli and her husband Albert of Bethlehem; his five grandchildren: Vincent, Eric, Maya, Gina and Jake; and great granddaughter, Valentina.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his son, Robert Moritz in 1984.
