George J. Muretta, 55, of Oakland Park, FL, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.

George was born in Easton, PA, a son of Sylvia (Rufe) and the late John R. Gallop, and the late George J. Sr. and Margaret Muretta. George attended Broward College and worked in Culinary Arts. He was active in the Ft. Lauderdale Arts initiatives. He and was a painter and musician.

George is survived by sisters, Pamela S. Garrity and husband John M.; Angel Baretta and husband John; step-sisters, Kate MacDougall, Meg Gulla and husband Joe; brothers, Ronald C. Woolf, Scott E. Woolf and wife Librada E.; David Muretta; step-brothers, John Gallop and Jamie Gallop; and many nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home.
