George Richard Pascoe, 89, of Easton, PA passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 in ProMedica North in Bethlehem, PA. Born on August 15, 1933 in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was the son of the late Philip and Loretta (Hoover) Pascoe. George served in the United States Navy for eight years, including during the Korean War as an Engineman Second Class on the USS Saratoga CV-60, the USS Thaddeus Parker, and the USS Valcour. During his years of service, he earned the Good Conduct Medal twice and the National Defense Service Medal. Upon his honorable discharge, George earned his GED through Harveys Lake Area School District.

He worked as the laundry plant manager for the VA Hospital in Lyons NJ until his retirement. George attended the House on the Rock in Wind Gap, PA. He was an avid fan for all the Philadelphia leagues, Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies. His favorite past times included racing pigeons, bass fishing, being in the yard, and in his younger years, was in a bowling league.

George is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marlee A. (Oplinger) Pascoe; daughter, Michele Lee Burgee and her husband, Thomas of Melbourne, FL; son, Paul R. Pascoe of Flemington, NJ; grandchildren, Jesse A. Hofford and Nicole Lee Burgee.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his sister, Viola Wickkiser and brother, Philip Pascoe, Jr.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) Services were private at the convenience of the family.
