Gerald V. Daley, of Plainfield Twp., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

Gerald was born on February 11, 1935 in Easton, PA, a son of the late Leo Francis and Ruth Elizabeth (Arthur) Daley. He had 13 siblings and is survived by one sister.

Gerald was the devoted, loving husband of Beatrice H. Daley for 20 years. He was the paternal father of one son. Additionally, he was an amazing step-father to eleven children and proud grandfather of 37 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was loved dearly and will be missed by all. He had a generous, kind-hearted soul, witty sense of humor and warm, fun loving spirit. Gerald was always smiling, and always there for everyone. He enjoyed cooking, reading, bowling, fishing, fishing trips to Canada, sporting events, antiques and auctions. But most of all he cherished his time with family and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).  A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com.
