Gerald E. Williams, 81, of Lopatcong Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2021 in St. Luke's Hospital.

He was born June 14, 1939 in East Stroudsburg, PA, a son of the late Robert and Estella (Fetherman) Williams.

Gerald was married to the former Gail A. Corley, with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage last April. He graduated from Phillipsburg High School, class of 1957, where he played football, wrestled, and track. He worked at Woolworth's after High school, Served in the US Navy Communication Technician, 2 ^nd class. After returning from the service, he became owner / operator of J. R. Williams and Son's Oil Company in Phillipsburg, NJ for 40 years, until passing the business on to his son. Gerald also coached little league football, baseball, and basketball for Delaware Heights and Pohatcong Twp. He enjoyed collecting McDonalds toys and Disney Memorabilia.

Gerald was a member of Stewartsville Lutheran Church, the Fleas Club, and the Garnet Booster Club in Phillipsburg, NJ, where he was previous President.

In addition to his wife, Gerald is survived by his son Robert E. Williams and wife Lori of Palmer Twp.; his daughters Cindy L. Williams of Pen Argyl, Renee L. Williams of East Bangor; grandchildren Michael Round, John Robert Williams and fiancé Monica Roscioli, and Ryan Williams. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Terrance Williams.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 37520 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the funeral home, followed by a Graveside Service in Fairmount Cemetery. Phillipsburg, NJ.
