Gloria Guevara Boonswang, M.D., 81, of Easton, passed away on December 14, 2022, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 28, 1941, in Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Macario and Maria (Mendoza) Guevara. Gloria graduated summa cum laude from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, earning her doctoral degree in medicine. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church and Northampton Country Club.

Gloria devoted her life to nurturing her four sons and husband while foregoing a medical practice. Gloria had a lifelong passion for learning and taught her sons to value honesty, education, and perseverance. She treasured every new word she learned, filling notebooks with quotations and definitions. Her eloquent, handwritten notes to her relatives and friends will be forever cherished. She is most remembered for her spirit of generosity and kindness toward everyone, regardless of circumstance. She humbly changed the life trajectory of those in need through her charity, prayer, and compassion.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Dr. Pricha Boonswang; sons, Ab and his wife, Carol, of Palm Beach, FL; Chad and his wife, Jessica, of Philadelphia, PA; Brig and his wife, Rachel, of Ra'anana, Israel; Gog and his wife, Michelle, of New York, NY; grandchildren, Abra, Axton, Lydia, Judah, Mikael, Roman, Baron, Beckham, Julia, Leah, Hannah, Phil, Josiah, Jonah-Skai, Anais; and sister, Redemcion Rigonan.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by a sister, Maria Rita.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St., Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). An additional calling hour will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am in the funeral home, immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). Entombment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, PA.
