Gregory Thomas, 79, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Born in Newark, NJ, on July 10, 1946 he was a son of the late Arthur R. and Alice M. (Geffinger) Thomas.

Greg worked as an assistant manager and manager for Shop Rite Village Supermarkets for 50 years before his retirement. Since childhood he loved to bowl. His freshman year in high school he won the Junior State Bowling Championship. He was a super fan of the New York Yankees, rooting for them since he was a boy of 10 years old. Greg adored his grandchildren and made sure he was at every sporting event he could attend to support them.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Kathi (Elko) Thomas; son, Scott Thomas and his wife, Heather; daughter, Sarah Thomas; step-daughter, Kara Meischeid and her husband, Christopher; 3 grandchildren, Baylee, Collin, and Karson; sister, Arlene Hendershot; and a brother, Arthur Thomas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Danielle DeCapua and a sister, Debbie Thomas.

Calling hours will be held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service. Interment is private. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com.
