Gwen E. Shafer, 59, of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Gwen was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of Frederick and Marilyn (Drumbore) Shafer.

Gwen was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1978. She was a factory worker for Stitch Fix, a local garment industry in Bethlehem. She enjoyed going to yard sales, listening to music, and being with her family and friends.

Gwen was a member of St. John's UCC, in Nazareth.

In addition to her parents, Gwen is survived by a fiancé of 24 years, Ben Braskie; a son Benjamin Braskie; and a sister Zoe Shafer of Easton.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Arndt's Cemetery, Forks Twp.
