Born: She was born on March 8th, 1922 in Stockertown, PA a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Guzina Sanders Sr. Personal: Helen is preceded in death by her husband William G. Howey Sr. in 1986. She retired from A&H Sportswear of Easton in 1988 where she had been employed as a Sewing Machine Operator. She was a 1940 Graduate of Easton High School. Memberships: Helen was a member of the ILGWU/Unite. Survivors: Helen is survived by her son William G. Jr. and his wife Carmella Howey of Williams Twp., a daughter JoAnn and her husband John Horton of Nazareth ,PA, Grandchildren David, Michele, John, Jonathon, Julianne, a great grandson Michael, and a sister Julia Rice of Tatamy. Preceded in death, brothers Joseph, Stephen, Frank, George, Lewis Sanders, and a sister Elizabeth Marsteller. Services: A Calling hour will be held Tuesday from 8am until 9am in the Morello Funeral Home Inc 3720 Nicholas St. Easton (Palmer Twp.) Pa 18045 followed by a 10 am Mass of Christian burial in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be at Holy Family Cemetery, Nazareth, PA.
