Helen D. Piro, 75, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in Gardens of Easton Nursing Home.

She was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Henry and Katherine (Serretta-Egerter) Steinmetz.

Helen was married to Charles F. Piro until his passing in 1996. She loved to read and do ceramics.

Helen is survived by her sons Ronald Shupe and wife Arica of New York, Curtis Shupe of Honesdale, Patrick Shupe, and Guy Anthony Shupe; a daughter Kim M. Sherrer and husband Richard of Bethlehem; a sister Betty Lou Barlieb of TX; brothers Jim Steinmetz of FL, Brian Steinmetz of AL; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A gathering will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a Memorial Service at 1:30 pm in the funeral home.
