Helen Bellante Turdo, of Palmer Twp., passed away early Sunday morning January 18, 2015 at Westminster Village, in Allentown, PA. Born: Helen was born in Easton, PA a daughter to the late Santos and Carmella (Italiani) Bellante. Personal: Helen graduated from Easton Catholic High School, class of 1945. Helen worked for Mack Printing as a binder for many years, she also worked as a secretary at Easton Area School District, and retired in 1978. Memberships: She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, in Palmer Twp. Helen was a member of the Golden Age Club at St. Anthony of Padua, in Easton. Survivors: Helen is survived by a son: Samuel Turdo, of Rehoboth Beach, DE; two daughters: Judy Villari, of Palmer Twp. and Christina Ferraro and her husband Edward, of Chestnut Hill Twp., PA ; four grandchildren: Amber Dilley, Bryan Leidy, Benjamin Border, and Matthew Border; five great grandchildren: Tyler, Brooke, Tristan, Emily, and Maxwell; a sister Antoinette Merlo, of Palmer Twp. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her first husband Thomas C. Villari who passed in 1955, her second husband Christian Turdo who passed in 2005, a daughter Maryann Villari who passed in 1971 and a brother Lawrence Bellante who passed in 2014. Services: Calling hour will be held on Tuesday 7:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church 4049 Hartley Ave. Easton (Palmer Twp.) at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Interment will be private.
