Hem Raj Sharma, 84 of Williams Twp, passed away Friday, August 27th in Easton Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born : He was born on April 2, 1926 in Hariana Punjab India. Hem Raj was a son of the late Hans Raj and Chandra Wati Sharma.

Personal: Hem Raj was employed as an accounts officer for the central government of India before retiring in 2005.

Memberships: He was very active in his local Hindu Temple in New Delhi.

Survivors: He is survived by his wife Tripta Sharma with whom he celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on May 12th. In addition to his wife, Hem Raj is survived by his sons Dr. Om P. Sharma and his wife Kumkum of Williams Twp., Rakesh K. Sharma of Hackensack, NJ; daughter Parneeta Sharma and her husband Suresh of India; brothers Dev Raj Sharma and Bhim Sen Sharma; a sister in law Raj Sharma all of India and grandchildren Eeti and her husband Nee raj, Dr. Pooja, Deepak, Divya, Diksha and Chandan.

Services: Calling hours will be held Saturday, (Today) from 12:30 pm 2:00 pm in the Morello Funeral Home Inc. 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by cremation at Lehigh Valley Crematory Services in Hellertown. A Shanti Path service will be held on Monday, August 30th at 6:30 pm in the Hindu Temple 4200 Airport Road Allentown, PA. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com
