Hirabai Jivandas Bakrania (aka Kamuben), 85, of Emmaus passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 in her home. Born on January 7, 1939 in Kampala, Uganda, she was the daughter of Dayalji and Diwaliben (Govindia) Vadgama.
She was a selfless, nurturing person who cared for her family. Kamuben enjoyed gardening and caring for her house plants. She was a very happy person who loved to sing and listen to music as she cooked. She had a talent of sewing and made clothes for her children.
Kamuben is survived by her daughters, Anju Lawlor and her husband Adrian, Bina Cook, Nootan Bakrania, Harsha Daley and her husband John; sons, Dipak Bakrania and his wife Vandana, Ketan Bakrania, and Vijay Bakrania and his wife Rachel Baron; grandchildren, Manisha, Kieran, Michael, Asha, Meera, Neil, and Chandrika; great grandchildren Nyshana, Yashmita, and Bella; sister, Lalita Bharadia. In addition to her parents, Hirabai was preceded in death by her husband, Jivandas Naran Bakrania in 2022.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc. at 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, (Palmer Twp). PA 18045. Funeral Services will follow in the funeral home at 1:30 pm. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com .
