Name: Ida May Hughes, 88, of Easton, PA, passed away Monday, June 14 at Manor Care, Easton, PA. Born: Ida May was born on May 19, 1922 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, a daughter of the late Robert and Pearl Kresge Jones. Personal: Ida May was a devoted Christian. She liked to bowl, golf, read, collect cardinals, and she loved family gatherings, and was active with her children and grandchildren. Survivors: Ida May is survived by her husband John, daughters Sandra Hughes of Palmer Twp., and Lori Anne McGuire and her husband Mark of Palmer Twp., two grandchildren Brian Hughes and Erin McGuire, sisters Shirley Kintner of Fort Meyers, FL and Roberta Boston of Bloomington, IN, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a daughter Diane Hughes who died in infancy, and a sister Grace Muchler. Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Thursday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will be held at the Northampton Memorial Shrine.
