Joseph Jan A. Norris, II, 76, of Wilson Boro, PA, passed away on Monday July 10, 2017 in St. Lukes Hospice House.

Joseph was born in Easton, PA, son of the late Dr. Joseph and Dorothy (Steele) Norris.

Joseph was a Case Worker for the Welfare Department in Easton, before retiring in 2004 from the State of Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Wilson Boro High School, class of 1959, and proudly served in the US Army.

Joseph was a member of Safety First, Wilson Boro Republican Club, Citizens Hose, Fleas, and the American Legion.

Joseph is survived by his companion Frances Szakos, of 32 years of Bethlehem; a sister Denise Ward-Fritz of Evans City, PA; a brother James Norris of Easton; a nephew, and a niece.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a funeral service at 8:30 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
