Inger Julie Nielsen, 95, of Palmer Twp. passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 in her home
surrounded by family. Born on July 3, 1929 in Bergen, Norway, she was the daughter of the late
Ingolf and Julie (Adsero) Hilland.

Inger immigrated to the United States at the age of 18, and became a naturalized citizen in
1953. She met her husband Peter Nielsen at the Seaman's church where she played the
mandolin and they were married in 1954. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother who treasured her moments with her family as well as sharing her heritage
and customs through stories and traditional holiday baking. She enjoyed tending to her garden,
reading, bowling and sharing stories of skiing, skating, rowing and fishing across the fjords.

In addition to her parents, Inger was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Peter S.
Nielsen; beloved daughter Isabel Eadicicco; grandson Daniel Eadicicco; sisters Else Jensen, Aud
Moran and her twin Judith Sorensen.

Inger is survived by her son, Peter Nielsen and his wife, Frances; daughter, Kim Sullivan and her
husband, James; son-in-law Michael Eadicicco; grandchildren, Jessica Timmerman and her
husband, Dennis; Peter Eadicicco and his wife, Erica; Joseph Sullivan and his wife, Victoria;
Kelly-Grace Sullivan; Katlyn Nielsen; Peter J. Nielsen and his wife, Kaitlin; Megan Nielsen; and
great-grandchildren, Sloane Isabella, Shane, and Emma.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Our
Lady of Perpetual Help, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd, Staten Island, NY 10306 on Thursday, May 15, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com
