Isidoro Colonna, 85, of Easton, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Old Orchard Manor Care surrounded by his loving family. Born: Isidoro was born in Bolognetta, Sicily, Italy, a son of the late Isidoro and Vincenza Colonna. Personal: Isidoro is survived by his wife the former Anna Giuseppa Ingui. He was a construction worker for 18 years in New York, and later was a steel worker for Ingersoll Rand before retiring in 1984. Apart from celebrating his Italian roots through the playing of Scopa, Bocce, and traditional Italian meals, Isidoro was a skilled and avid gardener, a lover of the outdoors, and he took pride in working with various construction projects. Memberships: He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Isidoro is survived by daughters Polina DiFilippantonio and husband Frank of Easton, Dora Colonna-Dotter and husband Brian of Walnutport, Sarah Arndt of Wind Gap, Nancy Alerica and husband Lucio of Easton; a brother Agostino Colonna and wife Lena of Easton; grandchildren Christina, Elissa, Annelise, Ondrea, Anna, Breaunna, Felica, Kristen, Alex, Lucio, and Victoria; great-grandchildren Christian Filip Jolley, and Connor John Casella. He is preceded in death by two sisters Cirrahina LaDuca, and Polino Ingui. Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also Thursday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA.
