Ivan J. Witmer

Ivan J. Witmer, 74, of Easton passed on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Arden Courts Nursing and Rehab. Born in Chester, PA on October 10, 1951 he was a son of the late Clair I. and Frances (Pileggi) Witmer. He graduated from Archbishop Wood High School, class of 1969. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Delaware Valley University. Ivan worked as an insurance agent for State Farm Insurance until he retired in 2024.

He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church. Ivan enjoyed being outdoors, often spending his time hunting or fishing. He was an avid train collector. His greatest joy in life came from the moments he shared with his loving family.

Ivan is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Elizabeth (Tonucci) Witmer; son, Brian Witmer and his wife, Kelly of Nazareth; daughters, Laura Kelco and her husband, Joseph of Palmer Twp.; Jamie Adams and her husband, Derek of Tatamy; grandchildren, Emily Witmer, Cody Witmer, Jacob Kelco, Harper Adams, and Brynlee Adams; brother, Robert Witmer and his wife, Joyce of Bethlehem.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Lucas.

Calling hours will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp.). followed by a memorial service.
