Obituary

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of J. Lee Boucher. Lee passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 after sustaining fatal injuries resulting from a car accident.

Lee was born on December 31, 1934 in Ludlow, Massachusetts to the late Leander H. and Rose (Eurbin) Boucher. He was the founder, owner and CEO of Bardot Plastics, Inc. that he founded in Alpha, NJ in 1973. The operation was moved to its current location in Palmer Township in 1990. Lee was a 1953 graduate of Ludlow High School and earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Administration from the University of Massachusetts in 1957 and a Masters Degree in Industrial Administration from American International College in 1962.

Lee was married to his high school sweetheart, Dorothy (Chwalek) in 1955. They were married for 65 beautiful years. Lee and Dorothy were blessed with 6 adoring children, 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. His wife and his family were his whole world and he never tired of bragging about them and visiting with them whenever possible…which was often! He was a life-long member of the Society of Plastics Engineers and served on the building committees of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church and Chrin Community Center of Palmer Township. Lee and Dorothy were patrons of the State Theatre and attended many functions there. Lee was also very involved and proud to serve as a coach for many years with the Palmer AA.

Lee was predeceased by his father, Leander H. Boucher, his mother, Rose (Eurbin) Boucher and his sister, Rosemary Irene Boucher. In addition to his cherished and loving wife, Dorothy, he is survived by his daughter Susan (Boucher) Avery and husband Scott D. Avery, Jr. and their children Scott D.
