Jamel H. DeRaymond, 88, of Easton, PA passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Jamel was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Nami and Labbia (Bahrey) John. Jamel was a graduate of Easton Catholic School and Easton Beauty Academy. She was a self-employed hair stylist in her home for 40 years. Jamels love and passion in life was caring for her family. Jamel was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Church, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and the St. Theresa Sodality of Our Lady of Lebanon Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond DeRaymond of 45 years who passed away in 2007, two sisters: Anna John and Katherine John and a brother: John John. Jamel is survived by her loving sons: Jonathan DeRaymond, of Bethlehem, George and his wife Stephanie, of Manassas, VA; and two grandchildren: Alyssa DeRaymond, and Justin DeRaymond. Calling hour will be held on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Prayer of the Incense at 8:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA ( Palmer Twp. ). An Additional calling hour will be held Tuesday 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home. A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Lebanon Church 4th and Ferry Streets Easton, PA . Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
