Name: James Jim J. Chierchiaro, 93 of Palmer Twp., passed away Saturday March 16, 2013 in Old Orchard Manor Care, Bethlehem Twp. Born: Jim was born in 1920 a son of the late Anthony and Anna Chierchiaro. Personal: Jim and his wife, the former Nina Chaiversoli celebrated 67 years of marriage together. He was employed as a foreman for Washington Woodcraft and later for J.G. Furniture for many years. He retired in 1980 as a maintenance supervisor for Northampton County Courthouse. Jim proudly served our country in the US Army during WWII. Memberships: Jim was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton. He also was a member of the West Easton Fire Co. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his brother George Chierchiaro of Palmer Twp; a niece Charlene Nicholson and nephews Jimmy Saraceni and Tommy Pintande. Sisters Ann Saraceni and Jean Attinello preceded Jim in death. Services: A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 9:30am until 10:30am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am in the church, 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
