James G. Ruane, 94, of Pen Argyl, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in his home.

Born : James was born in Scranton, PA, a son of the late Joseph and Mary Ruane.

Personal: James was married to Ann (Fallano) Ruane, before her passing in 2000. He worked as a glass blower for I.T.T., before retiring in 1988. He served in the US Army.

Survivors: James is survived by sons James Ruane and wife Kathleen of Bethlehem, Joseph Ruane and wife Julie of Bethlehem; daughters Elisa Lee and husband Robert of Pen Argyl, Kimberly Sell and husband Douglas of Walnutport; 14 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by sisters Ann, Gertrude, Genevieve, Mary, Katherine, Helen; brothers Joseph, and Thomas.

Services: Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and also Monday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 1817 First Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
