James Thomas Russell, Jr., 87, of Forks Twp. passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Northampton Post Acute. Born on November 23, 1937 in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Margaret (Jackson) and James T. Russell, Sr.

He graduated from Easton Area High School and attended Lafayette Night School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was the proprietor of Russell Landscaping for over 50 years and was a buyer of women's apparel for Hess Brothers.

James enjoyed traveling to Florida and spending time with his family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

James is survived by his son, David Russell of Easton, PA; grandchildren, Zackery and Alexis Hankerson; sisters, Barbara Airasian of Drexel Hill, PA, Margaret Anderson of Easton, PA, Joan Russell of Easton, PA, and Nancy Marchetto of Northampton, PA.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Martha (Badway) Russell; and a daughter, Denise Russell.
