James A. Sinko, 58, of Forks Twp., passed away on Saturday, August 18th in Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, under the care of the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Born: James was born in Philipsburg, NJ, a son of Alex and Virginia Sinko of Alpha, NJ. Personal: James was a biotechnichian for ImClone Systems in Branchburg, NJ, prior to that he was employed at Hoffman LaRoche, DSM in Belvidere, NJ. He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, class of 1972. He was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, and gardener. Jim had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a hand to his friends and family. Memberships: James was of the Presbyterian Faith. Survivors: James is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan (Merring) Sinko; son Jamie M. Sinko and companion Jennifer Due of East Bangor, PA; sister Susan Lawler of Alpha, NJ; brother Gary Sinko of Alpha, NJ; and a grandson Kevin. Services: Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A prayer service will be held on Saturday at 3:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
