Jane A. (Heiney) Pereira, 74, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Holy Family Senior Living with her husband by her side. Born in Allentown on July 17, 1948, she was a daughter of the late James and Anna (Quigg) Heiney. She graduated from Whitehall High School. Jane earned her bachelor's degree from Millersville College and earned two master's degrees in art from Wilkes College. She worked as an art teacher for the Bethlehem Area School district. After retiring from teaching  she became a licensed realtor.

Jane was a member of Hokendauqua Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed traveling to new places and finding new restaurants to try. Jane and her husband have visited almost all 50 states. She liked to spend time fishing at the beach or sitting in the sand with a good book.

She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Charles M. Pereira; son, Michael McKelvey and his wife, Keli of Bethlehem; step son, Victor Pereira and his wife, Kristen of Arizona; step daughter, Karen Pereira of California; step grandchildren, Lily and Resee Pereira and Brina McKelvey; twin sister, Jean Burlington and her husband, Charles of Harrisburg; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp.) and again on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
