Janis C. Gigliotti, 77, of Easton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Holy Family Senior Living. Born in Sunbury, PA on January 26, 1948 she was a daughter of the late Grant and Verna (Moyer) Bostian. She graduated from East Penn Boro High School in 1965. She earned her nursing certificate from Easton Hospital School of Nursing in 1968. She was a registered nurse for 35 years at Easton Hospital, retiring in 2003. She previously worked for Guardian Insurance until 2013.

Janis was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and doing puzzles. She loved to listen to music and dance. In her younger years she traveled to England and Paris. Her greatest delight was spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her son, Jason Gigliotti and his wife, Carrie of Macungie; step son, Robert Gigliotti and his wife, Dawyn of Saylorsburg; step daughters, Luanne Walters and her husband, Philip of Murrietta, CA; Jill Martin and her husband, Jim of Palmer Twp.; Janice Gensheimer and her husband, Jeff of Easton; grandchildren, Marissa, Madden, Jared, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Megan, Jessica; great grandchildren, Everhett, Emilia, Eliot, Jacob, Sophia, Jase, and Ellie. She also leaves behind sisters, Chyrel Aldinger and Becky Heller and her husband, Don; and brother, Tracy Bostian and his wife, Christina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Gigliotti in 2000 and a half sister, Elizabeth Swan.

Calling hours will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service. Interment will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Green Pond Road, Easton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Janis' name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 3810.
