Name: Jean Roccaro, 85 of Palmer Twp., passed away Sunday August 28, 2016 in ManorCare, Palmer Twp.

Born: She was born on April 19, 1931 in Easton a daughter of the late John and Anna Sanfilippo Roccaro.

Personal: Jean was a graduate of Easton High School class of 1948, and Easton Hospital School of Nursing class of 1951. She was employed as a RN for both Easton Hospital and Muhlenberg Medical Center where she served as head nurse for both in the emergency ward. Later in Jeans career was spent in the employ of Dr. Dominick Rasos Medical Practice in Easton for many years until her retirement.

Memberships: She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton.

Survivors: Jean is survived by her sister Charlotte Roccaro of Palmer Twp. and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings; Josephine Ottaviano, Ida Jane Phillips, Mary Roccaro, Charles Roccaro, Thomas Roccaro, Joseph Roccaro.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday from 8:15am until 10:15am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00am in the church, 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. Interment will be in Easton Heights Cemetery.
