Jean A. Sottosanti, 78 of Palmer Twp. passed away Sunday November 22, 2009 in Easton Hospital, Wilson Boro. Born: She was born on November 14, 1931 in Nazareth a daughter of the late Francis and Anna (Shuman) Walters. Personal: Jean and her husband Rosario Russ Sottosanti celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on September 3rd. She was employed as a telephone dispatcher for Suburban EMS and later as a Nurses Aide for Gracedale in Nazareth until her retirement in 1993. Jean was a graduate of Easton High School class of 1949. Memberships: She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton. Jean was a life member of the Suburban EMS and a past member of the Brown and Lynch American Legion Post 9 in Wilson Boro. Survivors: In addition to her husband Russ, Jean is survived by a son David A. Sottosanti and wife Ginny Broz of Pittsburgh, PA; a daughter Gayle Sottosanti and long time partner Chip Rapp of Bethlehem Twp.; grandchildren Anna, Gina, Michael, Emma and many other loved ones. Sons Dale Daniel and Matthew Sottosanti, a sister Ellen and brothers Nelson and Leo preceded Jean in death. Services: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00pm until 7:30pm and Wednesday from 9:00am until 10:00am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00am in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp.
