Jeanette J. Smith, 89, of Easton, PA passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Born in Wilson Boro, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Meixell) Gittings.

She graduated from Wilson High School in 1954. In May of 1957, she married the love of her life, Manus Smith. Jeanette was employed as an insurance underwriter with Selective Insurance for 15 years and the Nazareth Mutual for 30 years before retiring. She belonged to St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church and the Ladies' Auxiliary of East Bangor Fire Co. She always enjoyed a good game of Bridge with family and friends.

Jeanette is survived by her husband, Manus Smith; son, Manus David Smith and his wife, Darlene of Bethlehem Twp.; daughter, A. Renee Smith Stitt and her husband, Robert of Allentown; grandchildren, Karin Smith, Michael (Sarah), Sean, Joel (Rebecca) Stitt.

In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her seven siblings.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.)
