IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeffrey
Riddlestorffer
January 3, 1936 – August 6, 2019
Jeffrey Riddlestorffer, 83, of Palmer Twp., PA, has journeyed on to be with the Lord after a long and courageous battle with CTCL-Sezary Syndrome a rare form of cancer, on Tuesday, August 6, 2019.
Jeff was born in Rahway, NJ, a son of the late Sidney and Maude (Johnson) Riddlestorffer.
Jeff was most proud to proclaim that in 1994 he became a born-again Christian. His love for the Lord was the topic he shared during his cancer treatments. Jeff served as an Elder, Trustee, and as a member of the Mission and Finance Committees at the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen, NJ and First Presbyterian Church of Easton, PA. Family meant the world to Jeff – he enjoyed visits with his children and grandchildren. Jeff's prayer was that they walk with the Lord always and share God's love with others.
Jeff was a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He retired in 2001 from a successful career in banking. Jeff also served the community in a variety of volunteer roles throughout his banking career. Jeff was an honorable discharged veteran of the US Army and enjoyed sharing stories of how he helped build the Stansted Airport runway in London, England during his enlistment.
Jeff leaves behind his beloved wife of 40 years, Sheryl (Gray) Riddlestorffer. He also leaves behind his son James Riddlestorffer and wife Carol of Clark, NJ; his daughter Barbara and husband Greg Canfield of Sterling, VA; his grandchildren: Amy Riddlestorffer, Ryan Canfield, Emily Canfield, Timothy Riddlestorffer, and Jessie Riddlestorffer. Along with his much-loved sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, The Riddlestorffer and Canfield families want to thank the wonderful Hospice Team at Heartland Hospice for their love and commitment to Jeff and our family during this very challenging time.
A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am to 10:30 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Northampton Memorial Shrine immediately following the service.
In honor of Heartland's commitment to Jeff and family, we request that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 881 Marcon Blvd., #3700, Allentown, PA 18109. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com.
