Joan M. Anastasi 67, of Tatamy, PA passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. Joan was a daughter of Mary (Erdo) Berger of Milford, NJ and the late Willard Berger. She is survived by her husband Donald J. Anastasi with whom she celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on January 25th. Joan was employed for many years as a steel purchaser at the former Alstom Power of Easton. She was a graduate of Delaware Valley Regional High School class of 1965. Joan was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church 410 West Center St. Nazareth, PA 18064. She was an active supporter of the American Cancer Society and participated in the Relay for Life for many years. In addition to her husband and mother, Joan is survived by her son Jason T. Anastasi and his fiance Beth Boris of Nazareth, PA, daughter Danielle M. Schrader and husband Thomas A. Jr. of New Tripoli, PA, grandchildren Zarra J. and Sadie A. Anastasi, brothers Kenneth Berger of Hampton Roads, VA and Wayne Berger of Stewartsville, NJ. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am -10:00 am in the Morello Funeral Home Inc. 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 am in Holy Family Catholic Church 410 West Center St. Nazareth, PA 18064.
