Joan Moran, 79, entered into eternal rest on Friday March 10, 2017 after her valiant fight with cancer in Bethlehem, PA, while surrounded by her loving family. Through it all, Joan maintained her independence to the very end, and always led by example a true matriarch of the family. Joan was born in Bayonne, NJ and was the daughter of the late Zigmund and Florence (Burke) Mydosh and was sister to Robert Mydosh of Staten Island and to Patricia Stazsko of Toms River. Joan was married to her one and only Thomas Moran for 56 years before his passing on March 8, 2016. Joan was a graduate of Bayonne High School in 1956, and worked for Allstate Insurance in Cranford, NJ for many years until her retirement in 1992. Joan was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church in Palmer Twp and was a devout catholic.Joan was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, godmother, sister, aunt and friend, and she will forever live on in their hearts. Joan was an avid reader and she also enjoyed crocheting and spending time playing cards with her friends. But, Joans biggest joy of all was spending time with her family, and especially watching her grandchildren grow up.
