Joan M. Parkansky, 76, of Easton, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Old Orchard Manor Care.

Joan was born in Wilson Boro, PA, a daughter of the late Raymond and Lucy Ann (Angelica) Patterson.

Joan was married to Steven James Parkansky for 46 years before his passing in 2008. She was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1958. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and was passionate about spending time with her family.

Joan is survived by her sons Steven Parkansky and Fiance Karen, David Parkansky and wife Diane; a brother Raymond of Sylmar, CA; grandchildren Jared, Adam, Ashley, Stefanie, Jennifer, Steven; and a great-grandson Andrew. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sisters Marie, Pearl and Jean.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am in the Chapel of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 am in the church. Interment will be in Easton Heights Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
