Joan E. Sroka, 81, of Bethlehem, PA formerly of Upper Black Eddy, PA passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025. Born in the Bronx she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marion (Michels) McConville.

Joan graduated from New Providence High School in NJ. She earned her nursing certificate from St. Vincent's. She worked as a registered nurse for Somerset Hospital for most of her career. During her down time, she liked to knit or sew. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her loving family.

Joan is survived by her sons, Michael Sroka and his wife, Lisa of Easton; Brian Sroka and his wife, Dawn of Nazareth; Kevin Sroka and his partner, Judy Ramalho of Gladstone, NJ; grandchildren, Christine, Amy, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Amanda, Caroline, and Julia; and a brother, Robert McConville and his wife, Nancy of Nokomis, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Michael Sroka, Jr.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a memorial service at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) Interment will take place at Gethsemane Cemetery, William Penn Highway, Easton, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
