Joann Resar, 76, of Williams Twp., formerly of Palmer Twp., passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Born in Easton, PA on March 10, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Delia (Guzzo) Bartolacci. Joann graduated from Notre Dame High School, class of 1964 and attended beauty school.  She married the love of her life in 1968, Larry R. Resar, Sr. with whom she shared 51 years of marriage before his passing in 2019.

Joann worked as a hair dresser for Imperial Salon but then took the time to be at home with her children as they grew. During her leisure time, she could be found gardening, doing crossword puzzles or word searches, bird watching from her window, and cooking; her homemade spaghetti sauce was her family's favorite. Joann loved having a good cup of coffee in the morning and sitting on her patio to start her day.

Joann is survived by her two sons, Larry Resar, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Bethlehem Twp.; Michael Resar and his wife, Tiffany of Palmer Twp.; grandchildren, Matthew, Payton, Kyron, Jaron, Vanessa, Ashley; sister, Deborah Horvath and her husband, Michael; nephew, Michael Horvath and his companion, Liv; niece, Amanda Golden; great niece, Alexis and great nephew, Jayden; and three great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11:00 am at Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.)
