Joanna C. Joseph, 86, of Easton, PA, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 in Gracedale Nursing Home.

Joanna was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Barber and Rose S. (Koury) Joseph.

Joanna was a graduate of Easton Catholic High School, class of 1948. She was a waitress/bartender for Wilson Boro Republican Club, Bethlehem Club, Cross Timbers and Silver Dollar. Joanna enjoyed baking with her nieces. She traveled the world. She liked playing bingo at the church. Her bingo friends and coworkers were her extended family. Joanna was a second mother to all her nieces and nephews whom she cared deeply for.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, St. Teresas Sodality, and LAWA Club.

Joanna is survived by a brother Philip Joseph and wife Arlette of Harrisburg; nieces and nephews Natalie Richardson of Bethlehem, Robert Shiner and wife Sandra of Nazareth, Noelle Richardson and husband Mark of Bethlehem, Charles Badway of Rhode Island, Tom and wife Leslie Badway of Massachusetts, Bob and wife Cindy Budway of Rhode Island, Barbara and husband George Barakat of Australia, Charlene and husband Elias Symia of Easton and Roseanne Joseph of Easton. She is preceded in death by sisters Mary Badway, Naomi Shiner and brothers Louis Joseph and Edward Joseph.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with Prayer of the Incense at 7:45 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). An additional calling hour will be held on Monday morning from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in the funeral home. A Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 4th & Ferry Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
