Joanne L. Heater, 62, of Palmer Twp., PA passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015 in St. Lukes Hospital, Anderson Campus. Joanne was born in Easton, PA a daughter to John Strouse and the late Dorothy (Rinker) Strouse. Joanne was a graduate of Wilson High School, class of 1971. She worked many years as a Legal secretary for several law firms. She enjoyed the outdoors, nature, camping, fishing, gardening, and water skiing. Joanne was a very talented artist. She enjoyed arts & crafts, ceramics, painting and wood working projects. She loved classical and opera music. Joanne was an avid animal lover. Joanne was a member of New Creation United Church of Christ, where she was a member of their choir. She was also a member of the Suburban Rescue Squad (EMS), in Easton. In addition to her father she is survived by her husband: Gary Heater, of Palmer Twp., a daughter: Nicole Berluche, and her husband Francois, of Easton; a sister: Melanie Smith, of Easton; a brother: John Strouse Jr and his wife Carol, of Easton; two grandchildren: Brianna and Francois Berluche, of Easton. Graveside Service will be held on Friday July 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
