It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Jody (JoJo) Ann Amato. Jody was born on April 19, 1958 in Easton, PA and passed away at St. Luke's Brian D. Perrin Hospice House on Friday, June 7, 2024. Jody was the daughter of the late Inez Savini (Amato) Heller and Joseph Anthony Amato and stepfather, John E. Heller.

Jody leaves behind her sisters, Sharon Amato-Wilcox and her husband, Paul of Keswick, VA; Logie Heller of Easton; brothers, Richard Heller and his wife, Shara of Easton; John Heller, Jr. and his partner, Carol Smith of Bethlehem. She also leaves behind nieces, Rebecca Heller, Lauren Heller De Jesus, Kaia De Jesus, Nicole Heller Medina, Olivia Miranda, Jacqueline Heller Swartley, Faith Matos, and many cousins.

Jody was an angel sent to us from God. Nothing was more important to her than her family. She loved watching cartoons, talking to others, playing cards, coloring, taking naps, Facetime, going out to lunch, and eating spaghetti and meatballs. Jody brought compassion and understanding to all of our lives.

Jody was a resident of Access Services for many years. We are grateful for the care and the many opportunities they have provided for her, as well as the loving relationships she created while there.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service. Interment will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jody's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 30386, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
