Name: John Bothwell, 62, of Palmer Twp., passed away on Wednesday, April 18th at the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Born: John was born on November 19, 1949 in Perth Amboy, NJ, a son of the late Andrew and Dorothy Bothwell. Personal: John was an auto mechanic his entire life where he most recently was employed at Brown Daub of Easton at the Hecktown Road facility. John served honorable in the US Army 101st airborne division and served in Vietnam from April 1969 to March 1970. During his tour John was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm, and the Bronze Star Medal. Survivors: John is survived by his brothers David Bothwell, Tom Bothwell and his wife Cheryl; sisters Norine Binder and her husband Nick, Colleen Badulescu and her husband Mihai, Kathie Bothwell; nieces and nephews Ricky Bothwell, Mellissa Bothwell, Charlene Moore, Brian Binder, Andrew Bothwell, and Ashley Bothwell. He will be sadly missed and always loved. Services: Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp) followed by a funeral service at 8:00 pm in the funeral home.
