John A. DiSalvo, 91, of Bethlehem Township passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.

Born on January 18, 1931 in Mistretta, Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Giuseppe (Joseph) and Susanna (Alfieri) DiSalvo. He came to the United States in 1950 and settled in Easton, PA. He was a tailor by trade and the supervisor of the tailor shop of the former Today's Man, Allentown, until his retirement in 2004. Prior, he worked for many years in the tailor shops of the former Hess's Department Store and Robert Hall, both of Allentown.

John's greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, gardening, going out to eat, and watching old game shows. In his younger years, he enjoyed trips to Ocean City, MD and cruises. He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Easton, and watched the mass every morning on EWTN.

He is survived by a sister, Nancy DiSalvo; niece, Carmela McGlade and her husband, Robert and their daughter, Kathleen, all of Bethlehem Township.

Calling hours will be October 5, 2022 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
