John L. Ferrara, 80, of Forks Twp., passed away on Thursday, June 28th in his home surrounded by his family.

Born : John was born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Frank and Consiglia Ferrara.

Personal: John worked as a Packaging Mechanic for E.R. Squibb & Son until 1977. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Memberships: John was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, the NRA, and the American Legion.

Survivors: John is survived by his wife Agnes of 58 years; son John Ferrara and wife Veronica of Kunkletown, PA; daughter Donna Elmasri and husband Joseph of Chatham, NJ; sister Serafina Paduano of Long Island, NY; grandchildren Tina, Joseph, Donelle, and John. He is preceded in death by sisters Lucille, Mary, Antoinette; brothers Pasquale, Michael, and Salvatore Ferrara.

Services: Calling hours will be held on Friday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and also Saturday from 9:15 am to 10:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 in St. Anthonys Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton. Interment will be in Forks Cemetery.
