John R. Frinzi, Sr, 64, of Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Easton Hospital. John was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Angelo and Shirley (Lingo) Frinzi. John was married to the former Frankie Barnes, with whom he celebrated 20 years of marriage last December 31. He was a Chief Petty Officer, E7, for the United States Coast Guard during the Vietnam and Gulf Wars, serving as Dental Technician, Recruiter, and Manager of Health Services in Mobile, AL for the Coast Guard, for 26 years before retiring. John was a referee for baseball, football and basketball for many years in Mobile AL, Johnstown PA, Hershey PA, and New London CN. In addition to his wife, John is survived by a son John Frinzi, Jr and wife Joanna of Washington NJ; daughters Kami Laskoski and husband Matthew of Macungie PA, Cindy Perronne and husband Chris of Mobile AL, Jessica Pearson of Mobile AL, Amanda Washburn and husband James of Mobile AL; sisters Carol Jordan and husband Larry of Oregon City OR, Susan Hammerstone and husband Gary of Bethlehem PA; grandchildren Antonio, Alexander, Giana, Taylor, Jonathan, Bethany, Billy, Trey, and Everett. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville PA. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
